The project has been going on for just over a year and we have tested different materials, sewn samples, tested, washed and modified during the development. During the autumn, we started production of the limited edition and the denim shirts slowly began to grow in our small factory, piles of material lay around the sewing machines and the sound from overlocks, riveting machines and folding machines was sometimes deafening.
A limited edition of an overshirt in 12 oz denim, Eton's first in heavy denim!
When the sewing was done, we took the jackets to the local laundry for a rinsewash treatment so that they would have a slightly more authentic denim look, then we could finish the jackets before they were packed in a recyclable paper bag and then they were sent with our local courier company to Eton .
We went to Gånghester 5km outside Borås when it was time for photography of the overshirt, we visited their new photo studio they built up in their premises and got to be with when it came to make-up, dress, styling etc, our selvedge jeans JV003-12oz classic also got to be with in picture.
This is how one of the final photos from the photo shoot turned out. Overshirt Eton x Jeansverket together with our JV003 12oz selvedge jeans from the Japanese weaving mill Kurabo, if you want to know more about the overshirt you will find all info on Eton's website: etonshirts.com
