Sweatshirt, sweater, college or crewneck are all different names for basically the same kind of sweater, what characterizes the product is usually that it is a long-sleeved sweater with a round neck.

The sweatshirt comes from the American schools that often used this model with their logo and name on it. In the past, there were no training clothes in the same way as today and people often used a regular cotton t-shirt or sweatshirt in connection with training, as new materials and training garments developed, these basic garments became more and more an everyday garment. Cotton sweaters are comfortable to use, but when you get sweaty and wet, the cotton loses its comfortable feeling and becomes heavy, cold and less comfortable to wear.

Sweatshirt fabric or college fabric is knitted and goes under the name tricot which is a little more finely knitted, college is knitted in two different layers which means that you can treat the back and maintain the front look, you can also mix different yarn qualities, such as polyester / cotton which is quite common but also a variety of other combinations to bring out different properties in the fabric.

Our sweatshirts are made of organic cotton with a rough back to make it soft and comfortable, the most common variants are rough / fluffy back or loop back / loopback, it is the same fabric but when you rough the back you cut the surface of the inside (the loops ) and rugs them so it becomes soft and comfortable, a disadvantage with rugged sweaters may be that the durability is not as good as on an untreated shirt (loop back / loopback)

A few different classic colors such as navy blue, gray, beige and black in the basic wardrobe fit well with both jeans and chinos and can be a little more dressed with a shirt underneath.
